# Roadmap

The `roadmap` module adds a public `/roadmap` page to `apps/web` that lists the milestones of `GITHUB_REPO` with their progress. It is off by default.

```bash
findplate create my-app --modules roadmap
```

## What it adds

Files and folders:

- `packages/orpc/src/routers/roadmap.ts`
- `packages/orpc/src/lib/roadmap.ts`
- `packages/orpc/src/lib/roadmap.test.ts`
- `apps/web/app/roadmap`

## Env keys

```bash
GITHUB_REPO=
GITHUB_TOKEN=
```

Results are cached for 10 minutes. `GITHUB_TOKEN` is optional, set it for a private repo or a higher rate limit. Both keys are part of the base `.env`.

## Remove

Run `findplate remove roadmap` in the project, see [add and doctor](https://plate.findmalek.engineer/docs/add-doctor.md#findplate-remove). It deletes the files the module owns, strips its code from shared files and drops its packages, only where you haven't edited them.

If you'd rather do it by hand: for a new project leave `roadmap` out of `--modules`. In a project that already exists, delete the paths above, drop its packages from the `package.json` files, remove its env block and fix what `pnpm check-types` reports.

## Swap

The data comes from `packages/orpc/src/lib/roadmap.ts`. Replace the fetch there to read from another tracker, the page only needs the milestone shape.
